Helen’s International Kitchen was born from her desire to share Tunisia’s rich and often overlooked cuisine with the world. From the spice markets of North Africa to Mediterranean sweetness, Helen’s recipes celebrate the warmth, culture, and flavor of Tunisian home cooking.
Her journey began when she started recreating classic Tunisian treats like Anise Seed Biscotti, Chickpea Meltaways (gluten- and dairy-free cookies), and Makroud (semolina cookies filled with dates). Helen's videos will show you how to prepare Banana Walnut Bread, Whole Wheat Bread (Kesra), Tunisian Grilled Salad (Salata Mechouia), Tunisian Brika (Tunisian Turnovers), Mlawi (Layered Crepes), Authentic Anise Biscottis, Hummus Cookies, Hummus Shortbread, Tunisian Grayba (Ghraiba), and more! What started as small gifts for family, neighbors, and friends quickly grew as everyone fell in love with her unique, homemade creations.
